Project Direct & Indirect Assessment of 250 km PGN Gas Pipeline at Jakarta & Bogor Area
This project was aimed to asses the Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN)s – Sub Bisnis Unit (SBU) 1- pipeline across the Jakarta and Bogor area. The work was begun in August 2010, when the Pipe Current Mapping (PCM) method was first carried out in Jl. Raya Bogor. The PCM work was followed by the pipeline Theodolite Survey to plot the pipeline position so the existing drawing of the clients can be updated. After all of the PCM activity finished, then the Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) was started to determine the clients Transformer Rectifier (T/R) performance. The PCM result was then followed by the Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) to find the precise the location of pipelines coating defect. Based on the data of the 3 methods, the direct assessment was then conducted in Jakarta and Bogor for 38 holes, so the coating defect founded can be repaired and ensure the pipeline service integrity. This project was finished in May 2011 with total pipeline length around 250 km.
Project Direct & Indirect Assessment of 198 km PGN Gas Pipeline at Banten Timur & Bekasi Area
This project was the continuation of the PGN SBU 1 pipeline assessment to their other area, which were the Banten Timur and Bekasi. This project was begun in May 2011, when the Banten Timur and Bekasi Area were surveyed in the same time. The scope of work was the same as the previous one, with a slight difference DCVG survey method, which was involved 100% DCVG survey this time. The total pipeline length was around 198 km. 46 holes have been made to conduct the pipeline direct assessment and repair of coating defect. This project then finished in December 2011.
Project Direct & Indirect Assessment of 365 km PGN Gas Pipeline at Bekasi, Karawang & Cirebon Area
The PGN SBU 1 awarded the Bekasi, Karawang and Cirebon gas pipeline assessment project to PETRONESIA. This project was involving the PCM survey, re-as built drawing work, CIPS work, DCVG survey and then closed by the Direct Assessment work for 45 holes. This project was started in March 2012 and planned to be finished in December 2012.
